Day 2 Speaking of gratitude

Day 2: Speaking of gratitude

Yesterday we asked you to think about gratitude and to go a step further and write it in your notebook.

Did that feel good? Or did it feel unusual? Maybe you felt a bit uncomfortable. Or maybe you thought about someone in particular and how grateful you are to have them in your life. The more you do it, the easier it gets and better you will feel.

Now it’s time to verbalise your gratitude. Tell people you care about just how much they mean to you and how much happiness they bring to your life. Today.

“Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” – William Arthur Ward.

Sadly, some people never make an opportunity to tell those close to them how special they are. No matter how much you care about somebody, what does it count for if they never know?

Never miss an opportunity to rebuild bridges, heal old wounds or simply express love, for your own happiness as well as others.

Who are the people who support you? Tell them today.

Will you start with the people around you or reach out to someone you miss? Come right out and say it: “I am grateful for having you in my life”.
